As one of the few no-cost residential recovery programs in Northern California, our program addresses all aspects of life. Here, women and their children experience a safe and caring community.

Treatment plans are tailored to individual needs, overcoming obstacles, and accomplishing life goals. Residents experience relapse prevention counseling, practical life skills training, one-on-one coaching, and authentic relationships within a safe and caring community.

The Powerhouse Women & Children's Center is located in Folsom, California, and is home to 40 women & children. We strategize with residents to build the life they've always dreamed of.

Residential Recovery

The Women and Children's Center is a two-year, no-cost residential program, located in Folsom, California, and is home to 40 women and children.  The campus includes a counseling center, children's activity center, commercial kitchen and dining hall, and thirteen customizable bedrooms to meet the needs of families of all sizes. The opposite of addiction is connection. Residents learn essential relationship skills as they live in a safe and caring community. 

Healing and Restoration

Weekly classes introduce and sharpen boundaries, parenting skills, cooking, health, fitness, life skills, and more. Resources are available to help mothers reunite with their children or renew custody. Each resident has access to a team of therapists, legal assistance, life coaching, and one-on-one relapse prevention counseling. We believe the beginning of healing is discovering who God is and who He made you to be. Our classes are Biblically based and we're here to support individuals and families on their journey.

Rebuilding Lives

Women work with a personal strategist to explore career options and participate in externships in the community to build relationships with businesses and increase the likelihood of employment. We understand that to be ready to leave our program is just as important as joining it in the first place.

Graduates have access to a bi-weekly support group so that relationships made along the way can stay with them for a lifetime. Powerhouse is more than a recovery center. We have support groups for men, women, youth, and children and Sunday Night Worship to make accessing community easy and encouraging. We're here all along the way.
