Pay Range: $30-34 Per Hour
Position Overview:
The Counseling Center Director is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of the clinical programs. The Director ensures high standards of care, compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and the integration of faith-based principles into clinical practice. The Counseling Center Director manages a caseload of clients while also supporting a team of marriage and family therapist trainees and associates, support staff and works to foster a culture of excellence, integrity and spiritual growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Oversight

Oversee administration and program training of Trainees and Associates

Support spiritual development within the clinical team, fostering a prayerful and spirit-led work culture

Coordinate as needed with Clinical Supervisors supervising Pre-Licensed team

Liaison with community Practicum Coordinators to ensure partnership satisfaction

Ensure holistic care by facilitating joint efforts between the clinical and program teams

Develop, implement and evaluate clinical policies, procedures and treatment protocols

Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, and licensing boards
Clinical Care

Maintain a personal caseload of individual, and/or couples and family therapy clients

Able to case-conceptualize and prioritize treatment for co-occurring disorders and diverse populations

Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans and deliver high quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, integrating biblical principles and prayer as appropriate while honoring client autonomy

Maintain up-to-date documentation and treatment planning in accordance with agency standards and legal requirements
Program Development & Evaluation

Monitor clinical outcomes and quality metrics; implement improvements based on data-driven and qualitative measures, providing updates to executive leadership as needed

Provide mental health grant consultation as needed for Director of Development

Maintain and foster partner relations with collaborating therapists
Qualifications
Required:
-
Master’s Degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy

Active License in the state of California such as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Psychologist

Committed relationship with Jesus and alignment with the mission and values of the organization
Preferred:
-
Has been trained in or is Certified in EMDR
-
5+ years of clinical experience, with 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
