Christine Pinnick
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, License #164237
My name is Christine, and I am a dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am passionate about providing compassionate and client-centered care to individuals, couples, adolescents, and families. I am available for both in-person and telehealth appointments.
Drawing from my personal experiences and my background in the military, I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families, particularly in areas such as trauma, transition, and relational dynamics. My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in empathy, understanding, and a genuine desire to help others navigate life’s challenges. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, experiences, and relationships. I have developed strong problem-solving and leadership skills through my military service, which I now apply to the therapeutic process.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
My primary focus areas include trauma recovery, stress management, communication issues, and coping with life transitions. Additionally, I have a strong interest in working with veterans, active-duty military members, and their loved ones, serving anyone seeking to improve their emotional and relational well-being. Ultimately, my goal is to help clients achieve greater resilience, connection, and personal growth through thoughtful and informed therapeutic care.
I received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Jessup University in May of 2026. I completed my B.S. in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento in 2001.
