Our Values
We, at Powerhouse, see each person saved or unsaved as a valuable and unique person whom God loves and wants as His own. We recognize our own need for mercy and desire to extend that to others.
We desire to express the compassion that Jesus had for the poor, the sick, the oppressed, the widow, the orphans, the neglected and those who are held captive to the evil of this world.
We desire to bring hope and purpose to each person’s life by presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe all people have a need for salvation.
We feel it is important for each person to grow in Christian maturity. We, therefore, will provide opportunities to disciple through the teaching of the Word, worship and fellowship with other believers.
We desire for the Kingdom of God (God’s will) to rule over the kingdom of darkness in every life that is affected by the pain and evils of this world. Therefore we provide Biblical counseling and prayer for healing physical, emotional and spiritual hurts and difficulties.
